Drainage

The project will address storm flows based upon a 24-hour, 100-year basis for offsite conditions and a one-hour 100-year basis for on site conditions and flows. The project will also develop detention basins within the project district area that will improve the near shore water quality in the Wailea area. Removal of silt and debris will greatly improve the water quality in this area during rainy seasons with the result being a healthier ocean environment.
